300 free Estimate Builder industry templates
- Added 300 free industry Estimate Builder pages for estimates and quotes, each with editable preset line items across trades, home services, and professional services; see the launch overview for how they connect to invoices in your account.
Estimates, quote builder, and combined document quotas
- Create, send, and manage professional estimates.
- Convert an accepted estimate to an invoice with one click. All line items, client details, and notes carry over automatically. You can also edit the converted invoice if your customer requests changes.
- Try the free Estimate Builder to put together a quote with suggested line items you can edit. Industry templates include Landscaping and many more.
- Monthly document and edit quotas now count invoices and estimates together. Free plan: 2 documents and 5 edits. Basic plan: 10 documents and 25 edits. Premium: unlimited.
- Estimate management page, share links, and edit history work the same way as invoices.
Automatic resize for logo, signature, and background uploads
- Oversized business logos, signatures, and invoice background images are now resized and compressed in your browser so you can stay within upload limits without using another app first.
New Video Tutorial for Creating your first Invoice
- The create invoice help guide now includes a short video walkthrough for building and downloading your first invoice.
Reusable invoice notes and version history tweak
- Save commonly used notes (payment terms, thank-you messages, disclaimers) and insert them into any invoice with one click (Basic and Premium plans).
- Editing a note on an invoice never changes the saved version, so your templates stay consistent across invoices.
- Manage all your saved notes from the new Saved Notes page, accessible from the sidebar.
- Changing only invoice status (or other fields that already do not count toward monthly edit limits) no longer adds a version to history.
Philippine peso (PHP) in currency picker
- Philippine peso (PHP, ₱) is now available as a built-in currency on invoices and purchase orders, alongside formatting in previews and PDFs.
Invoice edit history and version tracking
- Every change to an invoice is now tracked automatically with a full version history.
- View a timeline of prior versions on the invoice edit page, including what changed and when (Basic and Premium plans).
- Revert an invoice to a previous version with one click when you need to undo a change (Basic and Premium plans).
- Monthly invoice edit limits apply by plan. Status-only updates (for example marking an invoice sent or paid) do not count toward your edit limit.
Autosave invoices while you work
- Your invoice draft now saves automatically as you fill it out, so you can close the tab or step away and come back later without losing your progress.
- When you return to create an invoice, your last draft is restored for up to 30 days on the same browser and device.
Custom currency support
- You can now choose a Custom currency and type your own symbol or code for invoices and purchase orders (for example R$, KWD, or XYZ).
- Custom currencies are supported in create/edit flows and display correctly in previews, PDFs, and document lists.
